About Minnesota Tough Summer Camps

Minnesota Tough Summer Camps launched in June 2017 by Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Ponce, the owners of Ponce Trained Wrestling (PTW). PTW offers an Early Bird and Last Chance Wrestling camp during the summer to help wrestlers stay fit for Wrestling season.

The 2018 MN Tough Wrestling Camp is the only two-week camp system in the nation. Commuters are encouraged to bring a cold lunch. Snacks and beverages will be provided by PTW.

All campers will be given one Minnesota Tough Summer Camps shirt and early registrations will receive a Minnesota Tough Wrestling singlet!

The head clinician for the Minnesota Tough camp is Coach Orlando Ponce. Coach Ponce is a 3x NCAA DIII Finalist & All-American. He has over 10 years of youth coaching experience and has been an Augsburg College Wrestling Staff for four years. Coach Ponce was a part of the 2010 & 2015 DIII National Championship Team Member. He graduated with his B.A. in Physical Education at Augsburg University.
